"Calamity" by JAMDED Magazine was inspired by the theme of nostalgia and how it affects the present.

By capturing childhood memories and themes we wanted to bring the viewer back to more innocent times. Growing up can sometimes feel like a calamity because of how sudden the transition is. I feel it’s something we don’t speak on often and are just expected to accept. Many are hit hard with feelings of emptiness and uncertainty. We are here to remind you all to live life at your own pace. I, myself, oftentimes find myself feeling this way and there are times where I don’t feel enough or feel life is going too fast. It’s okay to step back and take one thing at a time.

Patience
Throughout life, no one teaches you how to get through the transitions of growing up. the In this day and age, it is no surprise that social media is responsible for a lot of this rush. Comparison has left us wanting more while being in entirely different and unique circumstances than others. Even if you have already started something don’t be scared to take a step back, rebrand and just figure everything out. Don’t rush success.
