Isla Verde, PR August 2022-While also highlighting the literal interior design of the condominium (all pieces curated by J Balloons Inc. , a small owned business that specializes in catering to all special events needs) our “Interior Design” concept explores the complexity of humans as individuals. Not everyone may appear to be as they seem.

The interior of the apartment represents the physical exterior of an individual who may seem open, bright, colorful, adventurous, and loud while, our model ,Sevyn, represents the interior of the individual showcasing the complete opposite/ contrasting traits through the strategic styling of her outfit as well as her facial expressions. These dark shades made possible through Jamisha's styling of her in a navy blue Marni x Uniqlo collaboration skirt, a black bodysuit and black Rick Owens sneakers. She has been dressed in dark shades to emphasize the contrast and to also better highlight the props throughout the condo. Joshua of Joshua's Balloons, tells us he curated most of his apartment decor from stores such as Home Goods, TJMaxx, Marshals, vintage shops, and even thrift stores. The apartment contains textured and colorful elements that contribute to the experience of being inside. As soon as you enter the apartment, you are indulged in a world of vibrant creatures and life.

Our concept however, doesn’t end here and further complicates itself as we begin to explore the idea that the condo itself still has an outer exterior (the hallway) which also has an outer exterior and so on (the literal building itself, the town the building is in, the city it’s in etc.). This leaves us with the idea that everything is bigger and a lot more complex than we perceive.

While having lunch one evening, Jamisha recalls thinking "It's insane to think this world (the apartment) exists within this building. The building itself isn't at all a comparable experience to how you feel once you're inside the apartment. How can so many things live within each other and be composed/contain such unique vibes?". She was immediately able to make the connection to the humans, their emotions, and relationship to one another. Hence, the inspiration for this shoot was gathered and Jamisha along with Sevyn brought the concept to life in no time.
