How often do you come across people in love, street art, a music instrument, or eye catching architecture while roaming the streets of New York City?

The Herschel Supply Flatiron challenged New York residents to find each of these things and more in a photography scavenger hunt hosted by Kalena Burrell, the International Centre Photography's Artist In Residence. The event was one of the many Herschel plans to host in attempt to raise brand awareness and build a community.
Herschel Supply's Flatiron location is their first location in the entire United States. The brand who is notorious for their
backpacks , luggage, and travel gear opened the opened this location just this year and (2022). The location has entire wall dedicated to photographs taken by Kalena, featuring one image of Heather, a Photo Scavenger Hunt Challenge Prompt Photographers Were to Follow participant in this Sunday's scavenger hunt.
Heather shares exclusively with JAMDED Magazine " The ICP x Herschel photo scavenger hunt event really allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and see the most mundane things through a photographers eye. I got the opportunity to connect with lots of likeminded and creative individuals. And I got to see a photo of me in store for the first time! Overall was truly a wonderful experience and I’m looking forward to the next one!"

Before the hunt began, Kalena gave everyone some tips and tricks to follow. Everyone had thirty minutes to complete the challenge and meet back at the store. When the time was up, everyone discussed the pros and cons they experienced during the challenge and chose their top favorite photographs they had taken. Due to the time limit, it was no surprise some participants found themselves photographing the same subjects. At the end of the event each participant of the challenge was rewarded with their very own Herschel backpack.
When going around highlighting the pros of the activity, Jamisha Rosado, who
